"East Meets West Jumper"

This is a charming, simple jumper that can be worn by girls of any age, even those that are only girls at heart. The denim bodice and the patchwork skirt give the jumper a western look. The sashiko style stitching and the shi-shu designs on the bodice are modeled after the traditional, hand-work embroidery of Japan.

These instructions explain how I made my jumper. I hope you are inspired by the design, and make your own original work of art.
