Tambour Work and Mock Chain Stitch

This program will allow the designers at Down Home Dreams to be your personal educators.

DHD01-08 package includes:

11 pre-digitized designs suited for the lesson - on disk.

10 images to be digitized by the students - on disk.

          This stitch is faster to work than the needle worked chain stitch because of the way in which the yarn is handled.  Also, you can use longer stretches of yarn, because only enough yarn for a single stitch is pulled through the fabric at any given time.  This allows long sections to be stitched without the need to cut and knot the yarn.  Another advantage is that you can use a wide range of “yarns”.  With needlework you are limited by the size of your needle eye.
