It is always a challenge to bring new and innovative techniques to the embroidery machine.  As in the past, my search has taken me down a historical path.  In recent years, a very old technique has found new life.  Pulled thread work is truly finding new life in recent years.  In our previous lesson on pulled thread, we focused on “line stitching”; one variation being known as Venetian Stitching.  This lesson will deal with filling stitches.
